Freestylin'

It is always a good day when you can buy books. And today I went on a nice little spree.

I first began by heading over to my favorite used book store The Rubaiyat. I purchased a Stephen King first edition The Regulators, and I decided to give Clive Cussler's The Chase a try.

A few hours after, I drove over to Hastings with some friends and bought Unwind by Neal Shusterman and I Kill by Giorgio Faletti. I found all of these books today by just browsing through the shelves. Sometimes it is nice to pick a book at random. Quite often, I will find a new author I like and stick with him/her for a long time. But that can be dangerous, you can get too much of a good thing. To solve this "issue," I freestyle. Usually I prefer to do this at a library, so if the books are bad I can return them without emptying my pocket. But it pretty much works anywhere.

If you decide you need a new author to read, freestyling is a great option.

The new books I mentioned above will be rated fairly soon. I started Unwind earlier today and it seems promising. Also on the blog, I have a question you all should answer for me. The question is who wants an eReader. Everyone feel free to answer the question. There is also a comment button at the end of the blog, please click it and leave comments about anything you wish (within reason). I would generously accept constructive criticism or suggestions for good reads. If you don't wish for your name to be on them you can comment anonymously. And finally, if you wish to contact me for any reason concerning the blog, you can e-mail me at CodyWolf2011@gmail.com. Thanks for reading:)

  1. I have to admit that I love the feel of a book in my hand. I probably won't get an eReader.
